Linux Libraries

Libraries are usually found in /usr/lib and lib. Extra library locations can be specified in /etc/lib.so.conf. ldconfig can be run to refresh the cache of libraries.

ldconfig : refresh the cache of libraries
ldconfig -v : verbose refresh
